Question:

What type of dip for beer bread?

I have never made it before but I am having a party on saturday and would like that to be an appetizer...but I have no clue what type of dip to set out...any ideas?!?!

    INGREDIENTS

    2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

    1/2 cup mayonnaise

    1 (4.5 ounce) can chopped green chiles, drained

    1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

    1 (12 ounce) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

    1/4 cup canned chopped jalapeno peppers, drained

    1 (10 ounce) box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

      

    DIRECTIONS

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

    Mix together the cream cheese and mayonnaise in a bowl until smooth. Stir in the green chiles, Parmesan cheese, artichokes, peppers, and spinach. Spoon the mixture into a baking dish.

    Bake in preheated oven until slightly browned, about 30 minutes.

    Buffalo Chicken Dip --

    "This tangy, creamy dip tastes just like buffalo chicken wings. It's best served hot with crackers and Celery sticks. Everyone loves the results!"



    INGREDIENTS

    2 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained

    2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

    1 cup Ranch dressing

    3/4 cup pepper sauce, such as Franks® Red Hot®

    1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

      

    1 bunch celery, cleaned and cut into 4 inch pieces

    1 (8 ounce) box chicken-flavored crackers

    DIRECTIONS

    Heat chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat, until heated through. Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing. Cook, stirring until well blended and warm. Mix in half of the shredded cheese, and transfer the mixture to a slow cooker. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and cook on Low setting until hot and bubbly. Serve with celery sticks and crackers.  

  4. BEER BREAD DIP

    2 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened

    1/2 lb. butter, softened

    1/2 c. chopped onion or chives

    1/3 c. beer

    Pinch dry mustard

    Blend all above ingredients together. Hollow out large loaf round bread and place blended ingredients in bread loaf. Use hollowed-out bread (bite-size pieces) to surround loaf and use for dipping.
