  1. None. When you are in med school you will be testing out the different kinds of physician careers, but if you chose one it won't be any less school. Some may require an additional 2 years or so, but none will be less than 4.

  2. Not really any. You have to take the several years of pre-medical, and then go to medical school. After that you have an internship, a residency, and the training of your specialty.

  3. None that I would want to go to if I knew they only were doing it because it required the least amount of school.

I don't know.  Maybe a Psychologist, if you want to count that as a doctor.  But they're not really since they don't go to medical school and can't write prescriptions.

  4. All doctors need a BS and then four years of medical school.  All have a one year internship.

The difference comes when they get to their residency -- which can be anywhere from three to five years.  General medicine probably has the shortest residencies.

But to be honest -- if you are worried about the amount of work you have to do, please find a field of study where you can't get people killed if you are lazy or don't feel like doing the required work.
