What type of documents can I use to travel to Germany for Three(3) months if I'm not a citizen of the US?

  3. You only need a valid Passport and of course a plane ticket to get there. You do not need a Visa, unless you plan on staying longer than 3 months, or if you plan to work in Germany.

  5. It depends on your citizenship. US citizens do not need a visa, but a passport. Mexicans the same. But there are some nationalities that need a visa. You have to check in the embassy or consulate. Anyway the tourist status is allowed withtin the whole EU (european union) for only 3 months, so if you stay more with out permission that will be illegal. Normally every country has a period of 3 months for tourists. Passport is a document that you need to go everywhere in the world.
