Hard to say about the coat coloration (he's adorable, by the way!) but he's definitely got some Chow Chow there.  You can tell by the body shape, the set of the ears, and of course his eyes and muzzle.  I'm guessing he also has some dark coloration on the tongue?

Maybe he is mixed with husky . . . . or maybe, like the other person said, Australian cattle dog?  They have kind of slanty-type eyes and a stockier body, plus a collage of coat colors . . .

i can't think of the name but i think it's one of those dogs they use a lot for herding cattle.... man it's going to bug me forever....
