What type of education do you need to work for a Commercial Real Estate Company?

I have always been interested in commercial real estate and was just curious what type of education or degrees (or training in general) would be best in this area.

Most of the time commercial real estate only requires the type of education one gets for residential real estate for licensing.  But just like residential real estate you learn the business after you get your license from working with others already successful in the industry.  There are courses specific to commercial real estate like CCIM which can better allow you to specialize your training.  Still you have to realize that the real estate industry is primarily a marketing business, thus a 4 year degree in marketing may be your best goal to achieve.  I suggest you contact your state Real Estate Commission for license requirements and then talk to a local commercial real estate firm about future possibilities.
