    do you mean cost of electricity?

    a microwave is about 1000 watts, but check your unit.

    To run it for 60 minutes is 1000 watt hours. for 10 minutes, a more normal usage, that's 160 watt hours.

    electric power costs somewhere between 5-10 cents per 1000 watt-hours, so for that 10 minute use, it costs (at 10¢) that is 0.160 x 10¢ = 1.6¢
