What type of eyeliner is best?

I like how I look with eyeliner but whenever I put it on its runs to the bottom and makes me look sick and tired. I tried eye pencil and then the soft creamy kind but they both have the same effect. Is it the way I am applying it or just the type of liner? Would liquid liner be better?

Can someone please advise me on which best and which is the best or correct way to apply it?

try water proof eyeliner then

Buy water proof eye liner or get an eye liner brush and some eye shadow to which ever colour u want your eye liner to be, then use the brush just as a eye shadow brush. but in stead of putting it all over the eye lid just put it on as eye liner.

Yes, I think liquid eyeliner would be best but I think it's very hard to apply:( The Arabs make the best eyeliner.

go for liquid eyeliner!  there is a liquid eye liner by maybeline that has a felt tip which makes it apply easily to your eye,

also try unstoppable by maybeline it gives it the smuggy look but doesn't look like your eye liner is really messed up (:
