What type of file do i download to burn to dvd?

i use limewire. and so i type the title in, and it gives a bunch of types...

Hey there,

What version of windows are you running? Do you have a DVD burning program? If you are looking for movies, .wmv is preferable when burning to a DVD, .avi works also, but it is sometimes difficult to get them to burn to a DVD. I would suggest not downloading movies from limewire as they are usually bad quality, or do not work properly. Try downloading a torrent, they work much better, and are more reliable. Tell me if you need help on downloading torrents.

When you download it limewire, it would take too long to download a 700MB movie. The extension should be .avi

I would rather prefer to download it in torrent sites where I can find more seeders to make the download faster.

To burn it on a dvd, you still need to convert the file to .vob format so that you can burn it on DVD. I would recommend you use the convertxtodvd to convert the file.
