  1. 12 gauge shot gun for all the other. for the fox and bobcat depends on your range. .240 would work fine depending on how good of a shot u are u can use a .22. my dad took a fox with a 7mm mag and it was a bit of over kill lol.

  2. Model 870 Remington

i own one and it works great for everything you have listed

  3. 20 ga or 410 shotgun.

  4. Either a 20 gauge, or a 410/22 over/under.

  5. I would say a 10-.22 would be perfect

  6. A Remington 870 in a 12 gauge.

  7. 10-22. without a doubt.

  8. 223

  9. benelli shotgun

  10. a mossberg 500 in 12 gauge or 870 chambered the same so much versatility at the price of the airguns you would be looking at  or if ranges are longer any of the 22 centerfires would be great aswell

  11. Get a shotgun.

  12. I would say a 10 or 12 gauge. If you want one with little recoil got the 12 gauge which is more than you need. For a rifle I would suggest a 30-06 or 300 Win Mag.

  13. A good ol' BB Gun or air rifle will be good.

  14. doubt you going to shooting any bob cats down here.best chances is you will be shooting squirrels just for fun, best thing is just get a bb shotgun to kill squirrels.you can use that gun to kill just about any bird all u need is the pointed pellets.

  15. a 1000fps pellet rifle can take down all of those. if you must have a firearm, a .22 would be more than enough.

  16. It looks like you would be well served by a shotgun.  Back in the early 1910s on into the 1950, 12 guage was considered for duck and pheasant, and a 20 guage which was lighter, was the choice for woodcock, dove, quail, rabbit, and the like.  Back then, most working joes couldn't afford 2 guns, so they'd get a 16 guage.

Nowadays people have more money, and the 16 is a dying guage. Also the 20 is now avaialble in 2 3/4th or in 3 inch shells (and in a few cases, 3 1/2 inch, but they never caught on...people just switched right to a 12 guage)

A 20 guage with 3 inch shells can do almost as much as a 16 guage.  I see no need to get a 12 guage on your list, a nice 20 guage would just fit the bill in my opinion

However, you also put fox and bobcat on your list.  That is going to require an entirely different gun, a rifle to be specific.   Anything from a .22LR to a 22 hornet to 223, or even a 243 would be good for those.  You just aren't going to find a one-gun combination, except if you get a combination gun!

Yup, rifle barrel on top, shotgun barrel underneath, the Savage 24 is your answer.  I'd go with a 20 guage/223 remington combination myself.  222 would be fine too

  17. There's not really one gun that would be best for all these variations. For the fox and bobcat you should likely have a small caliber, center fire varmint rifle at a minimum. A .22 would work great for the rest, ... assuming you weren't going after flying crows, quail, or doves, ... but if you are, a good shotgun of any guage would be better. I'm not a big fan of .410's though, even though I've often hunted pheasant with one, it was a lot more sporty for me personally, ... but you'd be better off with a good 20 or 12 guage. To be honest, ... there really isn't a one gun choice here, ... a .22, a 20 guage, and a good varmint rifle would be best.

  18. Birds, you would usually use a shotgun maybe a 12 gadge.

Now for the squirelle and the rabbit I would use a .22 rifle

because you dont want to spend all day diging out each bullet.

  19. Remington 870 pump 12 gauge.

  20. One gun only? A 12 gauge shotgun would be what I would prefer.

  21. A rifle is out of the question if your going to shoot at birds.  A 410 amno is too expensive.  I would go for a 20 or a 12 gauge.  If I could only have one gun.  You can small game hunt with it, shoot birds with it.  If you ever want to deer hunt it would work to.
