What type of first impression do you think my style of clothing will make?

I'm starting community college and for my first day I'm planning on wearing a unbuttoned plaid shirt with a plain t-shirt underneath,a pair of big tinted gold rimmed sunglasses, a small gold chain and my high school ring, with non sagging baggy pants and a belt.For orientation i'm planning on wearing a Obama t-shirt with shorts, a custom made spray painted trucker cap with my intials, and a pair of silver mirrored aviator shades, and some jewelry. What type of first impression do you think I would make on others based on the way I choose to dress, and i'm only 18.

Sounds free spirited hippie type.  If that's you, go with it.  Just remember to be yourself and feel great about whatever you are wearing.  Dress for yourself and you'll look great.

For college -the plaid shirt & white Tshirt  is ok but keep away from shiny stuff..chain/gold rimmed glass that attract too much attention on  the 1st day .Have a nice leather belt & fitted cargo pants (with min pockets)  .Rings & caps  are ok. Keep away from T-shirts with slogans/pix of stars/ etc, wear plain t's,shirts or polo t-shirts. No shorts  or slippers- that's too casual -it's not the beach. Look neat at all times.
