  1. According to this site http://www.fonts.com/favoritefonts/famou... it's just Times New Roman condensed for the title... Think it might be modified slightly, but it looks pretty right.

    The font sets used by National Geographic were designed (at least some of them) by a British type designer named Matthew Carter http://www.accessmylibrary.com/coms2/sum...

    Haven't been able to source the font used for body text, cos of time, but follow these thru and one other http://typophile.com/node/14848

  2. It looks to be Times New Roman Condensed for the National Geographic font. The rest is a different font and I do not have a copy to see the inside.
