  1. flakes are most likeely useable as they are smaller and easier to digest try and break the flake into a very small particle and then feed it so it will be easier for them to eat it also if you have pellets throw 1 in it will sink they take little nips and its like a snack for them~:) hope this help

  2. Id say flakes... are you feeding them to a different fish?  That would be cruel...

  3. Flakes are always best, nutritious and bring out the colour in the fish.

  4. 4 gallons well the only thing that can happily live in there is a betta  and they need heaters

i guess you could get a school of 6 white cloud mountain minnows or cold water danios but they would not be happy in such a small tank

all these fish except the betta should have flake

  5. A baby biorb is only 4 gallons so there isn't much you can put in it and white cloud minnows are about the only smaller fish that lives in coldwater.

  6. sinking pellets are best for fancy goldfish, it decreases the chance of a goldfish getting swim bladder disorder. There are no small cold water fish. If the tank is at least 10 gallons then you can get fancy goldfish! Just remember, 10 gallons per goldfish!=)

  7. I would use pellets

  8. either.  they have the same basic ingrediants.  try to get the same thing they were being fed before.  also, sometimes a difference is that the pellets sink and the flakes float a bit longer
