What type of food do you prefer for your large-breed puppy? I currently have my puppy eating Solid Gold Large Breed puppy, which seems like a fantastic choice. Are there any others that would be better for her?

  1. There are many good quality food out there. I feed mine Orijen puppy good, since it is grain and corn free, no preservative, all fresh, non frozen food. it is a bit expensive, but it is totally worth it. what our puppy eats is what makes them healthy. you can also try Innova, Artemis, Canidae, Chicken Soup, Wellness. They should be all grain free and perfect for growing puppy. You could check out that link and see the ingredients and review. Hope this helps.

  2. purina puppy chow is great, it turned my little shelter pups into 150-160 lb happy dogs;)

  3. I feed my Beagle Orijen dog food. It cost a bit more than others but its far healthier some of the dog foods out there.

  4. nutro is great, not too expensive, especially when you buy the 40 pound bag.  it doesnt have the crappy fillers like most food so its very good for dogs.

  5. I have 3 Newfoundland, 2 adult, one 4 month old. The puppy eats Arden Grange plus raw meat. The adults eats raw meat and mixer.

  6. science diet for large breeds is the best, least expensive but still good is diamond for large breeds

  7. diamond is the best for large breeds. the only thing i feed my dogs.
