  1. violet aura: um, thats why she's taking PRO-biotics. Since she is probably killing good and bad bacteria, you want to replace it with nothing but good bacteria. Probiotics is fine. I don't see wat else you could take.

  2. If you are not in some kind of very ill health and can do without antibiotics, get off of them.

Soy yougurt, tempeh, miso, real pickles (made without vinegar), natto, and other fermented foods, eaten uncooked of course; add just before serving when cooked meal/soup has cooled a bit, or eat unheated.  You can also get probiotic or other products at the healthfood stores that promote the growth of your intestinal flora.  Stick to easy to digest foods etc.  Someone I know, it took her over a year to feel back to normal digestion after taking antibiotics.

  3. Don't take antibiotics!!!!! They are really, really bad for you!!!! 'Anti' means 'against' and 'biotics' means life. Unless you are against life, don't kill your good bacteria! (Of course, there are exceptions, but you'd have to be in dire straits for that).

What kind of infection or whatever is possessing you to take them? If you have a cold, it's crazy anyway because colds are viruses!
