I have been breast feeding exclusively since she was born and now i'm not producing as much so I want to slowly switch to formula. I gave her Similac Advanced and she threw up everything. So I don't know what to do. Thanks for your advice.

  1. breast is always best, good luck x

  2. I have been using Enfamil Gentlease for my son since the first month and he is 7 months old now. I noticed that he had alot less gas with the formula. That being said it is always best to ask your pediatrician for advice. I also tried 4 different formulas until I decided on this one.

  3. infamil with lipil seems to be what most docs recomend

  4. ask ur pediatrician

  5. My son is 3 months old, and I breastfeed and I am also just beginning to supplement with formula.  It has been one month now and three different formulas, going on the fourth! It depends on your baby. Mine didnt do well with the Enfamil Lipil or Gentlease. Now he is on Similac Sensitive which was working great but it is overloaded with sugar and he wont nap!! So I am still searching... I wouldnt suggest soy though. They are still doing studies on it and so far I have heard nothing but horrible things it can do.  Good luck to us both! I will let you know if I find out anything more...

  6. They're pretty much all the same. If there are any fish allergies in your family you might want to avoid the formulas with the "DHA" c**p in them. There is no way to make formula the same as breastmilk. Yes, I do formula feed, but it's the truth.
