What type of foundation/cover up should i use?

I have a discolored face(dur) well, i have tried trublend from cover girl, along w/ clean makeup from cover girl. Trublend worked good only it wore off...well looked like it was off within 20-30 minutes. I was wondering if i should try powders or if you have any advice...my face is very oily if that helps at all.

bare minerals works wonders.  it covers everything.  the infomercials don't lie.  it makes your skin feel so good, it doesn't even feel like you're wearing makeup.  i have acne but when i wear it, it doesn't show at all.

i find powders to be SO much better than those cakey wet foundations. i use bare minerals (like the infomercial) that you can buy at sephora. they last forever and really even out your skin tone. great investment i dont think i'll ever change brands :)

you should try the true match by loreal paris

they have a line of products that will match your skin tone and crapp

i recommend using their liquid foundation then using their press powder on places on your face that gets oily

wear tinted moisturizer (lancome is the best) in that way you are not clogging your pores and at the same time you are adding moisture and not "oil" and follow that up with mineral make-up.

the mineral make-up will soak up the excess oil, because it does not contain a base of its own.

bare minerals works really well. it covers up blemishes and stays on pretty well through out the day and looks natural. it doesn't look like you can tell that you actually tried to cover up that ugly zit. it hides flaws very well and looks natural. OH! if you do end up going with bare minerals...apply the mineral veil first and then the foundation and then mineral veil again. this will help your face not get shiny and it gives your skin a nice finish. i have oily skin too!

First off, you need a primer, Rimmel's Fix and Perfect foundation primer is really good and only like 5-6 bucks.

For foundation, I love Loreal Bare Naturale Mineral foundation, concealer, and transluscent powder. They give alot of coverage (good for discolored face) and don't feel heavy or look cakey.

To keep foundation on longer, use a primer, and spray face with something like Aquafina's Hydrating Facial Spray after finishing makeup, it will set your look and keep it looking fresh all day. It usually only works if you use powder foundation.

I use Revlon Custom Creations, and it works great! If ur skin is real oily, I would suggest NOT using powder as a foundation!
