What type of fruit is the fruit of Chinese evergreen or Scientific name: Aglaonema modestum? Is it a Simple berry, a Drupe, a Hesperidium or a Pepo?

These are the facts that I found about it's fruit but it doesn't say what type:

Fruit shape: oval

Fruit length: 1 to 3 inches

Fruit cover: fleshy

Fruit color: red

Fruit characteristic: showy

  1. Aglaonema  is a genus of about 40 species of foliage plants in the family Araceae( Not to be confused with Aracaceae which is a palm family ).

    It is  native to the tropical rainforests of southeastern Asia from Bangladesh east to the Philippines and north to southern China.

    Common name  widely used, is  "Chinese evergreen".

    They are herbaceous perennial plants growing to 20-150 cm in height.

    The leaves are alternate on the stems, lanceolate to narrowly ovate, dark to medium green, 10-45 cm long and 4-16 cm broad, depending on the species.

    The flowers are  very small , white or greenish-white  that can give way to red berries.

    The fruit is a berry and of red color .
