Number counting books would be good. You can also buy them some simple 1x6-12 jigsaw puzzles too.  For 2-3 years old children, u might want to check this book out at the library :   Spot's colours,shapes and numbers. The book is by Eric Hill.

Anything to do with numbers and colors. You can also use games that teach honesty and getting along with others. Remember, much of how your child's whole life is going to turn out depends wholly on his/her first five years of life.
