  1. What gas does the owner's manual specify?

Because if it Specifies premium, you need to put premium in it. If it specifies plus grade, put in plus, and if it never brings the subject up at all, use regular unleaded.

Using premium or plus when regular will do is wasting money TWICE!  Once when you pay for a grade you do not need and again, when the gas mileage goes down.

Yes, premium has less energy than regular.  You could look it up.

  2. not all four strokes can use regular my 450 needs 95 or higher. but i only have 93 here.if youre talking about trail bikes, then yes you can run regular. if you use regular and hear any knocking, switch to premium.

  3. A lot depends upon where you ride your Blaster. Altitude. Check with your local  dealer for a definitive answer.

  4. These other two guys are complete jerk offs, run the best gas you can get. Especially in a two stroke, S****y fuel/low octane will cause premature detonation and poor performance. Spend the extra 40 cents for a couple rides then switch back to regular- you will see what im talking about and your motor will be happier. You can get away with low octane fuels in four strokes but is completely unexceptable in two strokes.

  5. regular should be fine...
