What type of gloves should a tight end wear?

i am playing tight end for the first time this year, and im starting on my schools varsity team. i dont know whether to wear linemen gloves or reciever gloves. most of the time i will be blocking, and i want the extra padding, but i dont know if i will be able to catch with them.

Okay dude you totally need to get yourself some wide receivers gloves that have decent grip. As a tight end you don't really need linemen glove.
