What type of guitar is daughtry playing in his music video, "over you"?

i like that guitar, and i just want to own one like it so i can learn to play, oh and price if you know it

it looks like a gibson ES 175. about 3200 for the new reissues.  its an expensive first guitar.  maybe what you really want is les paul.  maybe a les paul jr used.  course if you have the money the 175 are great guitars.  but you'll still eventually want a les paul.  then you need an amp.
