Depends on what your going to be playing. There are certain Ibanez's that have great sound for like Metal/Rock. Also depends what you want electric or acoustic. I've played Ibanez before, they have great sound, to be honest with you I've never heard of ashton.. I also own an ibanez acoustic, I love it, great tone, had it for about 2 years..

ibanez, ashton not great quality ive had 2 nd they both gave up at high volumes....ibanez are great for metal or punk

I have an Ibanez acoustic and i like it. I then bought a Washburn and it completely blew the ibanez away.
