What type of hair would you need to get this cut?

Would you need thick hair, or would thinner hair suffice? Would very fine textured hair do, or would a thicker strand be better? And does it appear to need styling? If so, what? It looks voluminous, any recommended shampoos/conditioners?

And how much would it cost to get this cut and be shown how to style it (on average)?

Sorry if that's kind of a vague question. I'd like as much detail as possible, so feel free to ramble.

  1. Type of Hair: Okay, I am no pro hairdresser, but I would say normal hair, where it isn't to thin and it isn't to thick...

Styling: Probably a qiuck blow dry, and if your hair isn't naturally straight, then a quick run through with the flat iron might help to give it more "umph." :)

Shampoo/Conditioners: Depends on hair type, ask your hairdresser after you get that haircut.

COST: No idea... Depends where you go and if you get it colored or washer...

HOPE I COULD HELP! GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR HAIR!

btw, i like the idea! :)

  2. It looks like that person has thin hair, I wouldn't get that cut if you have thick hair cause when it dries it probably won't be as light as hers and stick up (do you understand what I'm saying?)

  3. ok im not sure on how muck it costs, but i was lookin @ that hair style but my hair wont work w/ dat. anywaz u need thin to medium hair texture. also curly or wavey hair does not work well w/ that hair cut. u need to have straight hair or if u have a LITTLE wave to ur hair that would work. pretty much any shampoo and conditioner wauld work it realy does not matter. but u can get shampoo & conditioner for straigt hair. it helps ur straight hair shine more. also it is a very easy cut if u have straight hair it does not need that much styling. mabe 5- 10 min. mabe a little hairspray and some leave in conditioner. so b4 u get ur hair cut dubble check w/ ur stylist. well hope this helps!!!

  4. Oh, that's scene hair. Kinda emo and kinda rocker. I like it! You could do that haircut with almost any kind of hair. Though if you have curly hair... I don't know, straightening it would be a pain.

The girl in the picture has pretty thick (but it looks fine also) hair. Though you could still do it if you have thin fine hair, it just might not have as much volume on top.

As far as styling it goes you would need the following:

    A big round brush

    A blow dryer with diffuser

    Volumizing moose

    Piecing paste

    and maybe a flat iron.

You don't have to use the above brands, that's just to show you what I mean. Though I do have that flat iron and I love it.

That all sounds harder than it would be,

I'd put the moose in your wet hair, mostly at the roots and then dry it with a blow dryer and a round brush.

If your hair has any wave in to you may want to flat iron it some.

Then use a very, very, little amount of piecing paste to make it look edgy. (Rub a fine layer on your finger then rub fingers together to get in warm and easier to use than piece out your hair).

    Voilà!

As far as how much it would cost, it would depend on where you got in cut. Between $25 - $60??? And when you get it cut they'll style it for you too. Just ask them to explain what they are doing while they do it.

    Hope that helps.

    Have fun!

  5. That would just take a good hair cutter who knows how to do Layers and Texture.  I recommend a professional cutter from somewhere such as Toni & Guy, show them the picture, and they'll get it done.  It would take layers, thin hair would work, medium hair would be best, some wax and straightening. Depending on where you live, the price varies.  40 bucks I would say, then 15 for product.

  6. id say thin hair if your hair is thick asked to get it thinned the next time you get a hair cut!

  7. It might be a difficult hair-do to pull off if you have super-thin hair because the hairstyle is very layered. You would definately need to style it with some volumizing mousse or hairspray to get the boost in the back-side of your head. I'd also probably get some hair-wax or pommade so that the ends dont go too funky on you. The cost (if you go to a professional salon) would be about 60-80, I think, and they should tell you how to style it for free.

As for the shampoo/conditioner, those things don't really give you that much volume but if you really want something great, get the Redken "full body" shampoo/conditioner set. (It's the greeny-blue bottle.) Pantene is also good.

  8. i think it needs thick hair..and if ur hair isn't straight..you'd have to straighten it everyday...coz if it isn't straightened it would look ugly..and use any shampoo that helps give u volume in ur hair maybe garnier and use the conditioner too..but i really can't help u with  the prices..sorry..hope i helped :)

  9. you would need thin to medium hair.. perferably straight.. or easy to starighten.. since the style wont look good for wavy curly or poofy hair. it depends on the salon you get it cut at.. i would suggest a high end salon since it is a complicated cut.. and then if you need a trim just go to a normal hair salon with normal prices since it is easy to just clean up. hope i helped.

  10. i think it wouldnt matter . but if you had thick hair you would need to straighten it like everyday
