What type of haircut should i go for?

I have naturally curly hair and its pretty long n thick and i'm getting my haircut this week and i'm trying 2 find a great haircut that will make my hair less thick and something different b/c i've always just stuck w/ a simple haircut which is just bangs to the side and the length is below my shoulders....any suggestions ...thnx!!!:D APPRECIATE ALL ANSWERS and perfer pics of hairstyles to go w/ it

    Sorry, I don't have pics, but I have an idea. My hair is the same length and almost the same texture- wavy at the top, curlier near the bottom. I have bangs to the side too. What I did was I got my hair layered. This worked perfectly. The hair curled really pretty there, or it would flip up. You can also change your "bangs to the side" to "side bangs." My bangs are sometimes all to the side, but lately I'll do this: Take your bangs and divide them into two parts on both sides of your hair. That way your bangs aren't above your eyes or side bangs. They're just to the left or right of each eye. Try it. It looks really pretty. I also have other side bangs as well as the shorter side bangs. You can always put your hair into a ponytail and then take out your bangs. Then, take a comb or pencil and take out just a normal strand of hair. It looks cool. Hope I helped,
