What type of hamster is the best?

Question

If I was to buy a hamster, which one would be the best? Are all Dwarf Hamsers crazy? COZ I bought one and it was ccccccrrrrrrrrrraaaaaazzzzzzzyyyyyy! Are all Dwarf Hamsters ccccccrrrrrrrrrraaaaaazzzzzzzyyyyyy or was it just bad luck that I bought a ccccccrrrrrrrrrraaaaaazzzzzzzyyyyyy one?

dwarf hamsters are very active so if you where to get a dwarfhamster you should get a boy. boys are much more tame. i have a syrain hamster he is very nice so they will not show the hamster that i have at the pet store as "syrain hamster" they will just show it as "hamster" another name for a syrain hamster is "teddy bear hamster"

I know the smaller the rodent ,and even dogs are alot more high strung then larger animals,good question though,i think you might want to get a bigger one this time,call the local vet and see what they have to say.

i have never had a dwarf hampster but i have heard that they are very mean. they may be cute, but i suggest you buy a teddy bear hamster. they are cute too, and there is a much smaller chance that they will escape from their cage.

In my opinion I think a teddy bear hammie is one of the best kind to get. I have a dwarf hammie and he is mean as heck. He will bite the c**p out of you. Teddy bear are loyal and easier to tame. Good Luck!!

I have had hampsters before and I think they are all crazy! It might sound weird but get a rat and raise it! They are a lot sweeter and cleaner!

you should get a syrian hamster once u tame it it will never go untame  but dwarf hamster lose ther tameness if they aren't handled for about a week or 2 also u can only get 1 syrian hamster cause they r very tertoural and will fight 2 death also get a male because female hamsters go to heat about once in 3 days and smell. dwarf hamsters can live 2 gether most of the time if they start to chase eachother u gotta seprate them they r populor cause there so small so if u will handle ur hamster often u should get a dwarf if u don't then u should get a syrian hamster. O yeah i don't really no wat u meant by wat u mean ur dwarf hamster was crazy if ur hamster picked up the bedding and moved it then it waz organsie its new home and was just getting used 2 its new home u should leave a new hamster alone for 2 to 3 days so he is calm and is used to a new scent
