  1. It's just like the Cincinnati surface. Fast and not a good thing for Nadal.

But good luck to him anyway!!

  2. Its got pace like Cincy.

They says its bad for Rafa because its not ideal for Rafa. Rafa would much prefer a slower surface like Toronto. Fed doesnt really like the Cincy surface either so you could say it was bad news for him. If its as fast as Cincy its not really good for Djokovic either- he doesnt thrive on the quicker courts. It prob suits Fed most outta the top three, but someone like Karlovic will be jumping for joy. As a Fed fan I'd be hoping for more of a US Open surface- as a Rafa or Djok fan you prob prefer more Aussie Open. Tad slower. yeah, bad news for all I guess. Esp in that extreme heat!

  3. Has the surface used in the Olympics always been a hard court? It will be interesting because Djokovic and of course Federer excel on faster surfaces, while Nadal dominates on the slower surfaces like clay and now the lawns of Wimbledon where he can put his wicked topspin to use.

Edit: Well it's not bad news for Rafa but he is at his absolute best on slower surfaces. It will be a more even playing level for his opponents.

  4. the material is exactly the same as cincinnati.  bad news for nadal then lol
