Question:

What type of house is my home?

It's in the middle of two other houses, like in a row of three. So it's not a semi-detactched because that's two houses together, and it's not a terrace because that's a longer row of houses. Anyone know what mine is? Thanks.

  1. Terrace. Bummer. Hope you don't have noisey neighbours.

  2. It is a mid terrace! Doesn't have to be a long row of houses to be a classed as terrace just more than 2 houses joined together!

  3. A terraced house is where 3 or more houses are attached together, so you do live in a terrace

  4. Quasi semi

  5. Sorry, but strictly speaking 3 or more fully joined properties are a terrace!  So you have a mid-terrace house.

An estate agent nowadays (as terrace house has connotations of Northern Mining Villages etc) is likely to describe it as a Townhouse.

  6. it's a town house. town houses are attached to each other.

  7. Townhouse ?

  8. A mid Terrace?

  9. Townhouse. You prodably have an association.I think some advertise them as patio homes.

  10. It is a terraced house.

  11. Sounds like a town house to me.
