  1. I'm dominican i live in miami now. i use to save my money in banreservas. its the goverment bank so it wont crash . I guess el banco central wont have any problems either. but i'd rather banreservas for some reason. Probably businesses are betting banks, colmados or bodegas. but u might need more than 54,000 pesos. It really depends on the neighberhood you want to do it in. People love to buy american clothes so you might wanna put up a small boutiq there.really do your homework with people you can trust.

  2. that is not enough money vfor a good invesment.

  3. That's not much money... just about $5000 U.S.D... you can't even buy a SHACK in the D.R. for $5000.

A couple of years ago, I talked to a guy that had a Tiki Bar for sale for about that kind of money.  I almost bought it and moved the boat over to the D.R. from Antigua, but finally decided to just stay where I am.

There are some businesses for sale in the D.R. so you may just go there and look around and see what you can get.

Personally, I love the D.R.... I lived there for almost a year... On Ave. Independencia in Santo Domingo and loved it.

  4. Sorry friend but what is 54.000 pesos dominicanos, that's to little for a investment. If you talk about 100.000 us dollars there we talking money. I know I live in the country for many years.
