I have a degree already, so in my pursuit of a degree in nursing, one of the options I have is an "alternate entry MSN" program at the University of Texas. It is for people that already have a degree, even a non-nursing degree, and allows a "fast track" into nursing. However, several people that I have talked with say that the career options are limited with an MSN. I have a hard time believing that, but I'd like to know what kind of jobs I can expect to be qualified for with an MSN.

  1. nursing

  2. You can specialize in those fields and become a NP. You can get your MSN in teaching and be a teacher in nursing school. You can also get your MSN for business administration and become a DON.
