  1. That's tough, not very much.  They're almost entirely under government grants, so you'd have to find a position as a research assistant, or go after your Master's before you're very marketable.

But those who don't do, teach.

  2. Hi, well with only a bachelor of science in bio, you can :

    - work in a lab as a research lab technician; this sort of job is not for everyone, upward mobility sucks, wages are terrible.

    - you can get a job in some medical device company as a clinicial specialist (which means you'll be dealing with lots of doctors and have to show them the products etc), or in their research and development department to focus on mostly biological aspects of their inventions (might get your name into patents).

A lot of people do professional degrees after bachelors in bio, like

    - medicine

    - dentistry

    - masters / Ph.D

    - occupationa/physical therapy

    - nursing

    etc

If your career goal is to make decent $$$, then a bachelors in biology won't get you far.  For any decent opportunity you have to look very very hard, and be persistent.  There are tons of bio-bachelors graduates, originally intending to get into medical school, but didn't get in.  In fact there is a surplus of them, and not many jobs geared directly for them (at least not at bachelors level)....

My advice, if you have the time and money, keep studying, and get a professional degree.  Otherwise, you really really really have to work hard to make a lasting career with just a bachelors in bio.  It's not impossible; in fact, many pharmaceutical organizations may prefer bachelors in bio than masters, because then they can pay you less
