What type of jobs do people in the field of Genetics have?

Just kidding we work in molecular biology, pharmaceuticals and medicine, to name a few.

There are way too many to even list because there are so many fields of genetics. I am a bacterial geneticist. I study how the specific proteins in a bacteria help it spread disease but there are many, many more fields of genetics. They usually involve research, but some like genetic counseling and animal husbandry use the knowledge already available to them to predict the chances of a particular genotype occurring.  Look up geneticist on Wikipedia for a pretty good list to start with.
