  1. Well, if you mean what to they do, it's mostly hearing questions that can be related back to the Constitution. Things like, did something the government did violate the Constitution or, does a foreign treaty bind a state. Also, the ultimate authority on federal law. The geographical jurisdiction is the United States and it's territories and in some things, where the U.S. military operates.  


  2. They have jurisdiction over the entire country.  Any law that they decide to rule on is final.

    Such as the Washington D.C gun ban.  Because they ruled it against the Constitution, all other cities,states, etc must remove all total gun bans and follow the Supreme Court ruling.

    Basically they have the final say over any law
