  1. He was definitely a transformation leader.  I believe by reading his philosophy that he was charismatic about his own philosophy and he serviced while acting upon them and writing to transform the thinking in the masses.

  2. a very hungry one. he fasted all the time. LOL

  3. Not that Muslims would ever take on such a way of fighting but I do think it quite an amazing way to fight as the oppressed.   And these days with the freedom of the Press being so much bigger a movement like ghandi's would move even faster.  It is hard because it is going against every ones natural inclinations which is to physically fight injustice.  What courage.

I think the reason it worked in the Hindu society is because of mediation and the way makes you think.  From a scientific stand point one thinks much more from the right hemisphere when they meditate, which is much more at peace with world and cares less about him/her self and more about the whole.  Left hemisphere is much more connected and cares about logic and reason and the story of where we fit in or the ego.

  4. He walked his talk, quite literally.

People who think Gandhi was great because he led a peaceful revolt miss a larger point.

He knew that the only way the Indians would get free of the British was to break with them economically.  As long as the Indians remained dependent upon British industry, no revolt would succeed.

He led by example, for instance eschewing British trains by walking.

Servant leader probably would be an apt description.

Whenever I hear public figures speak out about some concern I always use Gandhi as a measuring stick.  If this person believes so strongly in what they advocate, do they personally undertake the hardships, or do they merely state that others do the hard work.

  5. Charismatic , and obstinate, once an opinion formed in his mind he wont budge was his nature. If you are doing a paper for school, they will not accept anything negative.

  6. He led by example.  Do as I do.  Treat others as you want to be treated.

He was a humanist.  He certainly was not charismatic,  quite the opposite.

  7. but he lead a transformation of a culture so he must have some of that too. charismatic...

I cried when he died in the movie Gandhi!!

  8. He was the kind of leader that would have enjoyed going against Ghengis Khan!  He transformed.  He transgendered.  He was a she.

  9. Transformation. He may have been a pacifist, but he carried a big stick. His mind was his weapon.

  10. I'd say a servant leader and a charismatic leader. Just look at his quotes.

  11. He was a peaceful leader. Many of today's leaders could learn a lesson or two from him.

  12. not sure but i would say charismatic...if its not right then idk....good luck!

  13. One who doesn't know the meaning of force.
