What type of lens do I need?

Question

what type of lens /and or setting do I need to do the following

1. freeze action (fast shutter correct?also what type of lens)

2. blur background (large aperture?what type of lens)

3. HDR photos

Those things really have noting to do with the lens .. except for Bokeh, since all the lenses used by DSLR's do not have shutters in them.

1) You need a camera with at least a 1/4000th second shutter speed (1/8000th would be better)  I shoot sports, so I use a 400 mm f/2.8

2) I use a 24-70 mm f/2.8 for shooting fashion and glamour photography and it's Bokeh is good.

3) The only HDRI images I shoot are landscapes and architectural shots, so I use a 12-24 mm lens.
