What type of lighting attachment should I buy for a camcorder to see well in the dark?

Should I get an infrared LED attachment, or a regular LED flashlight attachment for a camcorder to film well in the dark? Which one will allow me to get a better quality picture in the dark?

It depends what you want - if you get the Infrared version, most camcorders will record that in something other than normal color - for example, Sony camcorders using their built-in IR makes the video image a monochromatic Green/whie (not black/white).

If you want normal colors, get a normal video light (not infrared).
