What type of lizard is this?

its also being held in a 13 year olds hands.

my brother and his kids found this at a park with a little pond.

i know we should put him back, but theyre not gonna listen to me.

  2. It's hard to tell from the picture. It would also help to know where you live. It looks possibly like a fence lizard or similar species. But why is the enclosure so wet? Fence lizards (if that's what it is) need it a little drier, as well as places to hide and things to climb on. I normally see them in trees. It would also need a heat lamp and a UVB light, and I doubt they'll be willing to spend the money to properly care for it. It will just end up dying like so many animals that are removed from their homes.

  3. if u live in the west side its prob. a western fence lizard.

    if u live in the east side its prob a skink.

  4. it might be a baby bearded dragon

    or a baby savannah monitor
