What type of luggage should i use/buy?

i have 2 really old gross duffle bags... and 2 really old small suit cases... theyre usable but i want something new and better....

should i go for bags or suitcases? one big suitcase?

im going to europe and i dont have thattt much stuff.

A trekking backpack would be fine, they're great for if so have to walk around alot from hotel to hotel. and they usually have several pockets so you can keep track of your stuff.
