What type of lure do I use?

the water in the lake im fishing isnt very clear and where there are lilly pads on the serface there is a lot of weeds below. I kno there must be fish inhabiting these areas but i dont know what lure or bait to use to acess them.

Depends on the fish that you are after. For bass try a weedless spinner or weedless worm. If you are after something else, they make many lures in weedless variety, so just do some looking. I like weedless spoons for pike. They make alot of weedless flies if you are fly fishing. A jitterbug might work if you can work through the lily pads.
