Question:

What type of makeup to wear at dances?

So I joined a leadership program that has local chapters all over the bay area (which is where I live). They're going to have a regional dance soon for all the people in the leadership program, boys and girls, about 300-400 people.

So how should I do my makeup for it? I usually only wear mascara on a daily basis and maybe sometimes eyeliner; on special occasions I wear mascara, eyeliner, concealer, maybe some neutral shadow, and lipgloss, but I'd like to do something more fun for this dance. I have blue eyes- they're big, I love them, fair skin, and curly brown hair. Help?

  1. If you have any red spots or pimples cover them up with with concealer, other than that you don't need to much cover up.

I'd do a silver sparkley eyeshadow but... if thats too much do a brown eyeshadow... both of those make blue eyes pop really well. I would do a black PENCIL for eyeliner, using liquid smears really bad... just say no to it. lol. use some mascara... yea...

For your cheeks i would a LITTLE bit of blush (not enough to turn you into a cherry) Use a pinky lip GLOSS (not lipstick) do NOT use red lipstick! if you are fair skinned it clashes with the fragilnesss of your skin tone.

    Hope this helps!!

  2. Do a smokey eye in a dark plum color (it'll look great on your blue eyes). Just line your whole eye in that color and smudge it with a q-tip. Black mascara. Very easy. Keep your lips natural-looking.

Another choice is a gold eye. Just line your top lid with gold or color your whole lid gold. However, be careful with the mascara, a clear one would be better for this dramatic look. Wear a berry lip shade.
