I want something SIMILAR to what a friend would give you, only full back, shoulders, neck or full body. I want to make sure i don't ask for the wrong one and be sitting there in pain or unsatisfied. thank you for your time.

  1. You want a 30-minute, back, neck and shoulder massage.  Full body massage would be called relaxation massage with medium pressure.  Do not lie there in pain, not speaking up.  The massage therapist should ask you occasionally how the massage pressure is going.  If not, then it is up to you to tell your therapist if the pressure is too deep or not deep enough.  This is what you pay for, right?  Don't expect your therapist to be a psychic! lol

  2. What is your reason for getting a massage? If you are looking for relaxation, Swedish massage, with its gliding strokes, kneading motions, and other protocols is what you're after.

If you have aches and tightness after physical activity, you might want to find someone who practices Sports Massage.

If you have aches and tightness all the time, check out a therapist who practices Trigger Point or similar modalities.

  3. You can do massage cupping therapy; a very good modality of massage by using cups and oil,

this modality will increase the blood circulation, decrease your pain and promote your health.

  4. Sometimes the relaxation massages are called Swedish massage.
