  1. at this time the only thing keeping the parts from detaching themselves from the vehicle during a crash are the telemetry cables and brake lines.the brake lines are made of Teflon and are covered in either Kevlar or braided stainless steel both of which are extremely strong other than that the chassis and suspension parts are designed to absorb the impact and fall away from the crash to decrease the chances of the driver getting hit by his own debris.
