I see all these crappy polyester flags and was wondering what a good material is. Is nylon good? Also, where can I find a high quality Pennsylvania State Flag (3' x 5' or larger).

  1. You should look for heavy cotton. Durible in heavy winds; where nylon, polyester, even lighter cotton will rip. In due time even the heavy cotton will rip and become faded. The others much faster.

I have no web links to provide for purchasing. I will tell you talk to someone at the nearest Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard to help you. They could also help you with proper display of flags.

  2. Nylon is good, but the twoply polyester is longer lasting , here is a link to a flag site with both/
