What type of material should I look for in a large flag (see add. details)?

I see all these crappy polyester flags and was wondering what a good material is. Is nylon good? Also, where can I find a high quality Pennsylvania State Flag (3' x 5' or larger).

You should look for heavy cotton. Durible in heavy winds; where nylon, polyester, even lighter cotton will rip. In due time even the heavy cotton will rip and become faded. The others much faster.

Nylon is good, but the twoply polyester is longer lasting , here is a link to a flag site with both/
