What type of memory device is needed for Computer Science I?

Can you give me some details?

What is the memory device called?

Where can I get it?

My teacher said it needed to be some type of memory stick, but can you tell me exactly what that is?

A flash drive, you can find one at Newegg.com or Tigerdirect.com or other online retailers.  It's basically a portable hard drive.

usb flash drive - get at any electronic retailer. Sometimes also called a thumb drive.

Come in different sizes of memory. 1 or 2Gig should be plenty for a computer class.
