  1. I don't think the previous answerer understood your question........

    Mastercraft snowblowers come with either a Briggs & Stratton engine, or a Tecumseth engine.  Depends on what size you have.  Both are extremely reliable and time tested units.


  2. If it is new (and has oil in it), it should be break-in oil.  Run it for the initial break-in period and then change it to a good quality recommended oil.  Usually a 10-30w oil.  For a snowblower, I would not run anything heavier.

  4. Mine has a 502 I/O Merc-Cruiser. I find it best to ask snow blower questions in the Boat section.
