What type of motorcycle should I get??

I am about to take the MSF course and when I'm done I'm going to be buying my own motorcycle but I don't know which type to get. I'm about 5 foot 5 and 110lbs. Which type do you think I should get?

it all depends on the type of riding you  will do. daily commuting? weekend riding? sport. cruiser, duel purpose, etc, there are many good starter bikes in each category, I would recommend staying at 600cc or below for sport bikes, 1100cc for a cruiser style bike, and 650 cc for standard style. Research the different brands websites and get a general idea which type you like and then go to a dealer to look at them ( and sit on them ) in person. for myself I like bikes like the Kawasaki ninja 650R Honda rebel and Suzuki sv650

At 5 foot 5 and 110lbs a Harley Sportser is just right.  If you want more of a sport bike, consider a Buell Blast.  Both are very fun to go around with.

You should look at the Kawasaki Ninja 250. It's a wonderful bike. If you want something more traditional, Honda has a fantastic lineup of standards, as do all the Japanese manufacturers. Be safe!
