What type of music do i get the Dj to play at my wedding?

Ok I am white and my family listens to rock and country and my fiance is Black his friends and family like rap, rnb, and reggae, but also his mother only enjoys christian music. neither one really enjoys the other how do I compromise between both families without having one family annoyed with the others choice of music. PLEASE HELP

mostly good dance music.  THe last wedding i went to played everything from bluegrass to rap, and Hannah Montana.  No one should really mind if every song is not their type.

I would have the DJ to a pleasant mix of all music.  I've never been to a wedding where I liked every song played.

If you have a good DJ then it will all be fine - thats his job to work the crowd & play what suits the scene etc. Trust me if hes a good one it will be no worry for you at all - besides its yours & your partners wedding you should ask for music that you both like not your families!
