I'm going to Incheon this year for perform for an international KTV bar, I am a male singer, i would like to get an idea on what type of music do people at south korea really appreciates? Do they like black rap music or mellow ones?? thanks

in korea Kpop(korean pop music) is really popular over there... they do appreciate rap... but the rap is kinda like pop over there too, so im not sure..

Pop music and ballads are very popular. If it is a very slow and sad love song, they will love it. Most of the songs come from Korean dramas.

Personally they want to make me cut my own throat, but that's beside the point.

Pop is the most popular in Korea (always has been) Big Bang, wonder girls, are good Pop groups. If R&B is more youre style try Lee Jung or M (Minwoo) finally if you like rap try Drunken Tiger, Dynamic Duo, TBNY, Epik High, Infinite Flow. You should be able to pick up the styles from these artists.
