What type of music would a teenage boy listein to?

My teenage boys listen to Simple Plan, Yellow Card, Sum 41, & All American Rejects.   But teenagers vary just like adults, so it is hard to guess what anyone's exact music taste may be.  Also, Lifehouse is good and has a new 2 cd set called "Who We Are" that may be good.

I just asked my two boys (ages 14 & 17) and their top pick is Simple Plan.

hip hop such as kayne west, ezibit and metro station. bands such as black eyed peas, wolfmother, ac/dc and red hot chilli peppers. These artists are all loved by my 16 year old brother

like im only 17 and i like rap, hip-hop, r&b, techno, trance, not allot of rock, i only like my immortal from evanesence, its like a depressing song, ummm......

well yeh just depends on the kids taste in music, it really depends on what life style his coming from to be honest,

if he has a sad depressed life style: rock/heavy metal.

if he hangs out on the streets with some home boyz: rap, R&B

if he stays home all day: pop maybe i dont know

First of all, the question doesn't make sense to me. What would, or what should he listen to?  1} What would he listen to? Who knows, the sky is the limit, but most likely some sort of pop or hip hop, but who knows-some listen to Bach.  2} What should he listen to? Anything that does not corrupt his mind like christian rock, christian hip hop, pop, etc.

Depends on the boy. I mean, I was the "coffee house" type of guy. I listen to a lot of John Mayer, Jack Johnson, etc. but I also listen to rock and groups like 3 Doors Down, etc.

However, I have buds who are really into techno, others who are into Slipknot, etc. And my 15 year old cousin Kyle listens to Fall Out Boy, MCR, stuff like that.

So, like I said, it really just depends on the kid. Hope that helps.
