What type of oil do you use for Volvo 5.0 GXi boat engine?

i need to add oil to my engines on my boat. i have two twin Volvo 5.0 GXi i/o's...any assistance?

i did not know that volvo manufactured boat engines. are they inboard or outboard?? 2 stroke or four stroke? are u in the states or in volvoland?? need to know for a complete answer.

Your Volvo Penta 5.0 GXi's will take any brand of 10W30 and it's recommended by the manufacturer (and me) that it be synthetic for a longer lasting engine. I hope this helps.
