try JAPLAC its a paint that has a plastic base.or an aerosol spay paint.

Most paints should work. Try washing the outside of the pots or where ever you will be painting with soap and water first, it makes the paint stick better.

use a oil based paint, get some fine sand paper maybe 120 or 240 grit and roughen the surface a bit to give the paint a key, make sure and undercoat it first too
